Director, Sales and Account Management, Marketer

$105K - $110K base, $78K commission uncapped. Benefit Package

Responsible for managing and growing an existing book of business and doing so in a way that encourages retention and provides for the upselling of additional products. Also, responsible for winning back business from the competition, penetrating new markets and accounts, and representing the Company in first class fashion at various trade functions, seminars, and speaking engagements. Responsible for fielding a first class team, training and nurturing the team with a focus on the metrics (size of the sales funnel, quality of the sales funnel, number of weekly client interactions, tracking individual and team closure & success rates, etc.) and ensuring the ability of the sales team to articulate the client’s value opposition and the value associated with our entire suite of technology solutions


Skills/Experience:
 

  1. 8+ years hands-on sales experience, of which 5 years experience is in solution-based sales, with proven track record in over-achieving quota.
  2. 1+ years of experience managing sales teams
  3. Knowledge of online advertising or search marketing is required
  4. Capable of being a point of escalation and resolution with customer's service issue. Have a strong understanding of the sales process and pipeline management.
  5. Be customer service oriented with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
  6. Experience selling to marketers in a highly competitive environment
  7. Candidate will demonstrate a strategic and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with top tier clients (experience in building relationships at senior levels, i.e.. CMO, CIO, CEO, VP).
  8. Must be a leader capable of mentoring and coaching individuals to maximize performance.
  1. A track record of exceeding performance and revenue of objectives as a manager and an individual contributor.
  2. BS/BA degree, MBA a plus.
